Copyright policy

Effective September 17, 2026

Photographers and models live from their work. If someone has posted your photos on LensPair without your permission, tell us and we'll take them down.

Open the profile or trip that shows your work, choose Report and pick “Uses my photos without permission”. In the details, tell us which photos are yours and where the originals were first published. Our team reviews every report within 24 hours.

Email [email protected] with the subject “Copyright notice”. So we can act, include:

1. Your name and how to reach you (email, and postal address or phone).

2. The work you own, or a link to where it's published.

3. The link to the LensPair profile or trip where it appears, and which photos.

4. A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by you, your agent or the law.

5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner, or are allowed to act for the owner.

6. Your full name as a signature.

When a notice is complete, we remove the photos or disable access to them, and tell the member who posted them what was removed and why. Incomplete notices get a reply asking for what's missing.

If you believe a photo was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, reply to the email we sent you, or write to [email protected], explaining why the photo is yours to share, with your name and contact details. We'll pass it to the person who sent the notice. If they don't tell us within 14 days that they've taken legal action, we may restore the photo.

Accounts that keep posting other people's work lose it: we close the account of a member who has had photos removed for copyright more than once.

Only send a notice for work you own or represent. Knowingly false notices or counter-notices can have legal consequences, and accounts that abuse this process may be closed.
